Web Design for Serviced Office Company
The Client
Serviced Office Company offer some of the only environmentally friendly serviced offices in the UK. They currently offer executive office space in both London and Manchester.
The Challenge
Makemedia was approached by search engine marketing firm Leapfrogg to develop a website for Serviced Office Company, the objectives were to:
- Launch and differentiate this new company in a competitive market
- Help them rank highly in the search engines
- Visually convey their environmental ethos
- Effectively market their office space online
Our other challenges were that as 'unbranded' offices is was important that their own brand wouldn't feel overpowering, we had limited photography of the buildings and we were asked to actively manage the entire project.
The Solution
To reinforce the Serviced Office Company's unique environmental ethos we used natural images, designed icons that represented the environmental features of each building and highlighted this area of the site in the main navigation with an elegant leaf icon.
Although we needed to keep branding subtle we used colour to give a unified look and differentiate each area of the business.
To help market the office space we applied prominent calls to action throughout the site, included floor plans and made use of available photographs to create a 'photo tour' of each site.
The new brand, coupled with dynamic design elements and an intuitive information architecture successfully communicated the dynamic, active and solutions based focus of the business.
