The judges were impressed by the rich feature set, ease of use and the transformation it had on the business.
Glenigan was recognised as winner of the Digital Innovation category as, after a customer-centric, thoroughly researched and technically innovative programme of work delivered a transformational year in 2015.
Glenigan is a data rich information service and the UK’s leading provider of construction contract leads and industry analysis. Construction industry professionals rely on Glenigan for lead-generation to drive new business – the Glenigan platform is a crucial element in their commercial success, and a “first screen of the day” in their workflow.
Understand the customer’s journey
2015 was transformational year for Glenigan, working with their internal team, we conducted in-depth customer lifecycle research to better understand the subscriber journey through the site and the end-to-end construction project pipeline from pre-tender to sign-off. We prototyped and used clickable, testable concepts to validate new functionality and design ideas in “usability lab” environment. The usability and prototyping work informed our development process. Deliver enhanced functionality and a future-proofed platform
Using agile methodologies enabled us to develop, feedback, test and deploy and see results for stakeholders and customers quickly. This led us to optimise the lead generation process for subscribers making vast improvements in the filtering, search and real-time notification and alert process – the new Glenigan platform now does all the work for the subscriber, and the interface design is simple, clean and intuitive. The technology stack is leading-edge with search functionality supported with an Elasticsearch index.
Integrate with salesforce and mobile
The new Glenigan platform also integrates seamlessly with salesforce.com, providing a real added-value benefit for subscribers who can access, update and convert leads directly into their CRM system. The platform is also fully Responsive so is available to subscribers on site and on the move via their mobile devices.
The results have been transformational with 2015 seeing double digit billings growth and increases of 10% with customer renewal rates seeing a 15% increase.
